Welcome to Dollard Water Polo
The Dollard Water Polo Club is one of the top water polo clubs
in Canada. In 2007-2008, over 130 athletes are participating
under the direction of 15 coaches, led by Head Coach Pat Oaten,
Coach of the Canadian Senior Women's National Team. Five of our
other coaches are also involved with national or provincial
teams.
Water Polo Quebec will be holding a referees clinic at
DDO on the weekend of May 14-16. The cost is $70.00
(registration deadline May 10)
There will also be a "level 2" coaches clinic held at
CAMO on the weekend of May 27-30. The cost is $120.00
(registration deadline May 21)

Remember Fundscrip orders are submitted every
two weeks. Order deadlines for this month are March 8 and 22.
Congratulations to all our players on
their latest success!
February has been a busy month for our teams.
The 18U men reclaimed the trophy at our own
Nelson McDunnough Tournament on the
weekend of February 19-21. The silver medal went to CAMO and the
bronze to Hull. Results
That same weekend two teams of 16U boys
travelled to Hamilton for the Thompson Cup. They were happy to
bring home gold and bronze medals
Two
teams of 18U and 16U girls spent a week at the
8th Annual Florida International Tournament.
Among their
souvenirs are the gold and bronze medals.

have not previously been selected as the
Amateur Athlete of the Week please

Amateur Athlete of the Week Registration
Form (here) and send to
office@waterpolo.ca. An athlete will
be selected randomly each week, and all
profiles submitted to Water Polo Canada
will be held on file, therefore, only 1
entry per athlete is required. |
