Dollard Water Polo

The Dollard Water Polo Club is one of the top water polo clubs in Canada. In 2010-2011, over 130 athletes are participating under the direction of 14 coaches, led by Head Coach Pat Oaten, Coach of the Canadian Senior Women's National Team. Three of our other coaches are also involved with National or Provincial teams.

A Message from Pierre Cloutier, CEO of FINA Mtl 2014

Hello everyone,

I need your support. As CEO of FINA Mtl 2014, I’ve applied to receive a grant from the program “Our Community Cheer” implemented by Molson Coors. This money will be used to buy new technical equipment for all 4 aquatic federation. This equipment will be used immediately by competitors of every age. Here’s where you would come into play. You need to go to the website www.ourcommunitycheer.com and under “key words” enter “Montreal 2014”. Then, you must register by filling out the information required (Be patient, it might take a few attempts) and then vote by clicking the dote next to the 2 hands. You can vote from as many e-mail addresses as you want. Although, they require 225 votes, we believe that the selection will be made according to the number of votes as well as the quality of the project. So please get as many people involved as you can. The voting period ends on February 17^th. The more votes, the higher our chances of winning.

A number of our teams were travelling on the weekend of January 14-15. The Bantam team went to Etobicoke for the Paul Taylor Memorial Tournament, where they won the gold medal.

The 16U Girls also had two teams playing in that tournament, finishing third and fourth.

While three 16U Boys teams went to Gatineau. They placed first, sixth and seventh.

Congratulations to our tournament champions CAMO girls and the DDO1 boys led by Captain Evan Bernotas

On the weekend of November 12-13 we sent three teams to a Bantam tournament in Gatineau. We finished in third, fifth and sixth places

We also sent three boys teams and two girls teams to the CAMO 16U Invitational. Our DDO2 girls went undefeated and the DDO1 boys finished second.

Two teams of mixed 16U and 18U girls and two teams of 16U boys travelled to Guelph on November 4-6 weekend for this annual event. Congratulations to the girls teams who won gold and bronze medals.
